After surviving a tumultuous childhood filled with addiction, theft, and violence, she made it her mission to help women break free from poverty, struggle, and pain. In the week prior to recording this episode, her car was vandalized. “Life happens, and sometimes she’s a bitch.” Instead of focusing on the many negative aspects that came along with this, Lisa instead told herself to look at this as a learning experience, allowing her to change some things so, in case this happens again, she won’t have as difficult a time going forward.
“When we are empowered by our money, we’re able to make decisions, whether it’s to grow our business or go on vacation, whatever it is, we’re able to make better decisions because we know what’s going on with our money.”
